Creating clear, consistent content for a growing occupational health provider

Industry: Healthcare
Business type: Occupational health and EAP services
Project type: Internal communications, longform blogs, wellness bulletin

Company profile:
A nationwide occupational health provider offering bespoke services — including employee assistance programmes (EAPs) — to businesses of all sizes. Their mission is to improve workplace wellbeing through practical, preventative support.

The challenge:
With no internal content team in place, the company needed flexible support across a wide range of writing tasks. They were looking for consistency in tone, especially across sensitive topics, and wanted to ensure their brand voice remained clear, supportive, and professional — both internally and externally.

How we worked together:
I collaborated closely with the CEO and senior team to support various content needs, including:

  • Longform blog posts on topics like mental health, workplace culture, and health regulations

  • Monthly internal wellness bulletins, designed to inform and engage all staff

  • Polished internal communications and CEO messages

  • Content guidance to help shape a warm, helpful, and confident brand voice

The wellness bulletin, in particular, became a regular touchpoint for staff engagement and helped the organisation reinforce its own wellness values.

The results:

  • Internal feedback on the wellness bulletin has been overwhelmingly positive — many staff now look forward to each issue

  • Blog content consistently drives 500–1,000 website visitors per month

Improved brand visibility, with higher search rankings and increased awareness of services
